Die Cuttin' Diva's - 3D Projects Purse, Bag, or, Box

Hi There!

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot to post my DT project on Tuesday. I'm so sorry and thank you to everyone that let me know :)  I'm getting the family ready for our Spring Break vacation and it's been really tough to get everything in order, but I'm almost done! Phew, can't wait to relax.

So welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this challenge is so fun and I'm sure many of you will LOVE it. The challenge is a 3D project so come share a purse, bag or box project! My DT has some awesome projects this week and I just loved all the pretty purses, but I made a tiny gift bag perfect size for a gift card.
I used purple because I never use purple and I wanted to use this gorgeous Grape Fizz Trendy Twine.

I just love the size of this gift bag die from MCT it's perfect. I can fit a gift card, some candy and the tissue paper so nicely. It's also great for small gifts too!
I added a cute lavender tag using a die cut also from MCT and some ivory ribbon,

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Rainbows

Hi There!

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a great challenge and one that puts a smile on my face. "Rainbows" I still feel like a little kid whenever I see a rainbow in the sky. They are one of the most beautiful sights in the sky :)

Here is my fun little rainbow card using Lil inker design dies. for both the clouds and the rainbow.

I used a rectangular die cut to cut some polka dot paper for the background. I found a sentiment that fit perfectly on the cloud.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have our monthly sketch challenge, so come join in the fun.

I used the sketch to make a fun gift card holder for Teacher appreciation day. The actual holder is a die cut from MCT and then I used some banner flags from Lil inker Designs.

I found this great sentiment in my collection of stamps and thought it would be perfect for this little holder. I added a couple more die cuts, the label (MCT) that the apple sits on and the apple (cricut).

Teacher appreciation day is in May and I think no matter how old your kids its still fun to show our appreciation. My son is in middle school and the school plans a great day at the end of TA week honoring the teachers with gift cards. I miss the elementary days where everyday we brought fun goodies for our teacher.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Ribbons and Bows

Hello There!

Happy Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we have a fun challenge. We are working with ribbons and bows :) Come show us your pretty projects!

I created and wedding card in some muted tones. I wanted to change it up from what I normally create. I always stick with the traditional B&W.
I used my die cut stitched rectangles and a cute little die cut bow. The background is just strips of 1" paper and gold foil washi in between to add a bit of shine.
I stamped the sentiment using MCT stamp and then placed the striped bow on the bottom of the card. I think I'll be making lots of these cards and I can see one for a new baby coming soon :)
