Die Cuttin' Diva's - Anything goes

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week is everyone's favorite... Anything Goes. So come on over and show us your project and don't forget the DIE CUT:)

So recently my blog buddy Sherrie tagged me in a fun event. Random act of Cardness, cute huh? So I just LOVED the idea and it made me stop and say I make all these cards and hardly send one without a reason. Well this is a card I made for a friend to let he know I'm thinking of her.

I used some great big polka dot paper and added these gorgeous coral and peach flowers.

I thought it needed just a pop of something so I added some mint green leaves. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with the new Smile stamps from Annies Paper Boutique.

Trendy Twine - Sending Hugs Candy Treats

Hi There!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing some fun candy treats for any occasion. They would be super cute for Back to school treats, get well treats, Valentine treats or just because treats! I've used the new "Smile" stamp set and boy am I loving all the fun sentiments.

I started my treats with the skinny candy bags and filled them with red hot candy.

I created some fun little tags to go with my candy bags. I simply die cut some stitched tags and coordinated my pattern papers.

I added a die cut heart and stamped the sentiment on the heart. I picked two sentiments that are universal and can be used for almost any occasion.

I wrapped each tag with Cranberry Twine and looped the top.

Thank you for stoppin by today!

Hi There!
It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week we're giving thanks! Come by and show off your Thank You projects. Today I'm sharing a Thank you gable box for a teacher.
I started with a gable box and decorated it with a school theme. I wanted to have a Thank you gift ready for this year.  I used a die cut label and stamped a Thank you sentiment.

I used some die cut numbers on top of a school theme pattern paper and tied it up with a Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine bow.

Introducing our new stamps and clips!
Today I'm showcasing the Documenting the Everyday stamp set and the Smile stamp Set
I created a fun School layout with the new Documenting the Everyday stamps. Oh these phrases/sentiments are perfect for all your memory keeping!

I used a lot of the stamps in my layout and I think my favorite is the "place photo here" I love that!

I used a notebook paper die as the photo mats. I had the idea to use small mats for those tiny photos that come in the school picture orders. I never know what to do with them. So I came up with this idea :)
Another fun new item is this adorable paper clip... Oh my gosh, it's SOOOO cute! I just loved how it looked on the tag along with the Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine

Next up is the SMILE set

I created a fun Birthday set.

I think most 13 year olds appreciate a gift card or money so these muslin bags are the perfect way to give a small gift.

The bag itself is super cute but you know us crafters have to make it look ever cuter! I added a tag with some masculine colors :) I used a grey distress ink for the sentiment and added a die cut number "13"
The card is very simple and shows of the sentiment from the new set perfectly!

Dont's forget to follow and comment on each blog in the hop (including this one.)

Trendy Twine - Back to School

Hi There!
I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing some fun Back to school treats using our spotlight product Medium Candy Bags. I know students will be using plenty of No. 2 pencils, so that's always a great little treat to give a student.

Our schools actually do not allow mechanical pencils or any colorful or patterned pencil so that leaves a pretty basic No. 2 pencil. We go through tons of them, I mean tons (have you heard of pencil wars) yes they still play it :)

I wanted to decorate them with school themed paper. I found a fun pencil stamp and I printed the Back to School sentiment. I tied gorgeous Cranberry Trendy Twine to the top of the pencil toppers and in the middle of the treats.

I love the school lined paper and look at that twine. So pretty! I colored the pencil with copics and added glossy accents.

I found some fun little school themed pencil erasers at the dollar store to add a fun touch to the little treats.

This month the team theme is Back to School, we will have lots of inspiration for you all month!

Stop over to the Boutique and grab all your back to school goodies.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Sketch challenge

Hi There!

It's Tuesday and welcome to another challenge day over at DCD, this week it's our monthly sketch challenge. I always love the sketch challenge and try to push myself out of the box. So here is what I came up with.

I wanted to use some summer colors and I actually had some of these papers sitting on my desk. I wouldn't normally pair them together but I kind of like the way they looked. Here is the sketch

I turned it and used it vertically.

I used die cut labels and butterfly from My creative time. The circle die cut is from Spellbinders. As you can see I'm sort of in a clean and simple mood. Most of my cards have been leaning towards that style. It might be because I have been cleaning and purging many items in our home. It feels wonderful!
