Die Cuttin Diva's - Get Well Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week we have a Get Well Challenge for you. I don't make many get well cards, but I think it's nice to have and nice to send or give someone not feeling so well.

I welded the letters using my gypsy and cut the "Get Well soon"

I cut this cut little band-aid from a cricut cartridge (not sure which one - sorry)

I added a die cut heart from My creative time. I also added a bit of doodling.

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for "Get Well soon" the  challenge! We would love to have you.

Trendy Twine - Thanks

Happy Monday Trendy Fans!

I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a Thank you idea using Bumble Bee Trendy Twine. What a fun color for Spring. Earlier in the month I shared a cute little bee card and now I wanted to share a thank you gift.
I started with one of my favorite chevron bags from Annie's Boutique .

.
I tucked a little gift and gift card inside.

On the outside, I made a tag and used a die cut of the word thanks. I tied the tag with Bumble Bee Trendy Twine. I just love the black and yellow and it's not just for bumblebee projects, so I really wanted to share some inspiration without actually using a bumble bee :)

Stop by the Boutique and grab some Bumble Bee Trendy Twine.

Trendy Twine - Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!

The Trendy team is sharing some fun Easter projects with you today! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the time with your family and friends. We are going to church and then having the family over for Easter lunch. I did manage to make a few small treats for the kids but I also wanted to make a cute centerpiece for the kids table. I thought this was a fun idea.

A cute little bunny centerpiece!

I used a popcorm box from Annie Boutique and filled it with fun candy eggs. I added a little bunny with his head in the candy box. I just used ovals for the feet and body and then I made his bushy tail with a Tickled pink Trendy Twine.
This box is such a great size, I'm going to add it to a little wooden crate I found at Target and fill the crate with moss and more candy eggs :) A fun centerpiece for the kids table :)
Such an easy project and really no special tools needed.

I wish you a VERY HAPPY EASTER!

Stop by the Boutique and grab these fun treats!

Die Cuttin Diva's - Button Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. Today we have a fun challenge using buttons. Come and play along with us.

Okay... so I'm a little late I know. But these were the little note cards I made for St. Patty's day.

I used a stitched rectangle die for the card then I cut a shamrock in the center and lined the card with acetate and added a lime green button. I just love the look of the acetate and you can do this with any shape. I may try a bunny or Easter egg :)

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Button challenge! We would love to have you.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Mystery/Detective

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. We have a fun challenge for you :) It's a mystery inspired challenge. You have to stop by the DCD blog and check out the inspiration.

I used a fun file from SVG cutting, and the sentiments are from Scrappy Mom stamps and My Creative time.

Oh this little guy is too cute with his big eye in that magnifying glass. The eyes are two sizes from Peachy Keen Face stamps. I used some pattern paper that resembled newspaper and used the new MCT edge die it gives a torn edge look. Lastly, I inked up the paper to give it that old look :)

Trendy Twine - Happy Bee-lated Birthday

Hi There!

I'm over on the Trendy blog sharing a Bee-lated Birthday card :) This month the Trendy team is showcasing Bumble Bee Trendy Twine. What a FUN color! The blog will be buzzing with inspiration this month.
I tried something different and took a little inspiration from my DT sister Kimberly. I created a type of spinner card.  I just thought a little floating, spinning bee would be perfect for this month! I created a card and used a die cut for the middle and simply placed the twine down the middle. I sandwiched the bee around the twine. So I had to make my bee pretty on both sides, I sparkled him up with lots of glitter paper and stickles.

I added a pretty yellow polka dot frame on the outside to cover the twine. I added more Bumble Bee Trendy Twine and a fun sentiment.

This was a really fun and simple card to make. Kids would love these little spinning cards!

Stop by the Boutique and grab some Bumble Bee Trendy Twine.

Die Cuttin Diva's - Paint Chip Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. Oh MY GOSH, is this a FUN challenge. It's a paint chip challenge. I have to say that when I saw this challenge on our list I thought hmmmm? I was at the home improvement store buying stuff :) and thought oh yeah let me grab some paint chips for my project. I had no idea what I would make so I just picked colors that I liked. Well let me tell you, I LOVED this challenge.

I decided on MCT flower Die Cuts and I really wanted to use both the peach and mint.

After several tries, I ended up with this pattern because I found a sentiment that fit perfectly in the top right corner.

I carefully stamped the ink on the sentiment using a variation of the colors.

Oh my gosh, who knew this would be so fun and look so nice. The paint chips cut so awesome and the stitching on mine look so sharp and perfect!

I really encourage you to try this and join us, I know you'll LOVE it!!

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the Paint chip challenge! We would love to have you.

Die Cuttin' Diva's - Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for another Die Cuttin Diva's challenge. This week is the March Sketch. It's a fun one :)

I used the sketch vertically to create a Project Life card. I just wanted to try :) Sadly, I'm not a planner or PL person but I thought since we have a huge amount of family B-day's in March it would be fun to create one page. I hope someday to organize my life and become a planner and PL person!

Since I used the sentiment in the middle I used an arrow stamp and some star stamps for embellishments. Using a sketch, the ideas are just endless...

Please pop over to Die Cuttin Divas Challenge and check out the inspiration from DT and join us for the SKETCH challenge! We would love to have you.
