Another Christmas in July Card......

Hi Everyone!
I couldn't pass up the chance to participate in my favorite challenges. So I put together another Christmas card. I know I'll need many :) Also, I was a VERY lucky winner over at My Creative Time . I won the entire June stamp release. I've been playing with the set and her stamps and dies are just incredible and SUPER versatile. I used the Fly away with me dies for the snowmans scarf, how CUTE is that!
I followed the sketch at Peachy Keen Stamps and added my own take on the sketch.

Cricut Cartridges - Doodlecharms, Storybook (frame)
Dies (scarf) - My Creative Time

Merry Christmas - Christmas is July

Hi Everyone!
Ok, I must admit making Christmas projects in 80 degree weather does seem strange. Nonetheless I have created a couple gift card holders for the many gift cards we give the teenagers in the family. Pretty simple design. I used the pocket card from TBBM and welded a rectangle to the top to give it a little more height.
I sure hope you get inspired to get a jump start on Christmas projects and join some fun challenges:)

Not quite sure why the color looks off on the trim at the bottom, it is the sames paper as the other reds??

This is the tag pulled out with plenty of room for a gift card and sentiment.
Holder - 5.25" x 4"
Cricut Cartridges - TBBM
Paper - Recollections
Trims - MS Punches
Machine stitched

Whoot Whoot...Celebrate

Hi Everyone!

Wow, Is it really Friday today? Where did this week go? I have had NO time this week to craft. So this card is actually from last weekend and I just added the final touches on it. I created this for a few challenges and I missed one :( Anyhow, I actually had a little inspiration for this card, it was from one of my SUPER talented bloggy friends. Miss Cindy from Cindy's Scraptastic Designs. Now I'm probably crazy creating a card using Cindy's design, because she is such an AMAZING crafter but I just loved this card (Click here to see it) Gorgeous right! I really wanted to create a card with a little owl in a tree. So here is mine! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing plate Bricked & Woodgrain set to create the tree like background. I cut a shape in the middle using my gypsy. Can you guess what shape I's an apple turned on it's side and stretched until I like the way it looked.

You're my Hero - Stars & Stripes

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying the weekend, we just got home from Church and are getting ready to go watch a ball game but I wanted to post a card I made for some challenges. I tried using some non-traditional colors to make a patriotic stars & stripes card.
