Minnie Mouse Party Bags

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing well.
As promised here is the beginning of the Minnie Mouse party decor. First up are the party bags. I'm so exciting to share all of this with you. I will have more pics of the completed party next week. I still have the cupcake toppers, food labels, & the banner to share. I'm trying to finish all of it tonight!
We wanted to make bags for both boys and girls. I used the box in a bag idea because they were the perfect size for all the goodies the kids get to take home:)
The Minnie Mouse is from the Mickey & Friends cricut cartridge. The Scallops, circles & little ribbon holder are from gypsy Wanderings.

I'm happy to enter the Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky all about Disney.

Bag - 6" Tall - Box is 4.75" (after folding its 2.75")
Paper is CS - Recollections & PP - Canvas Corp

Happy Birthday to you!

Hi Everyone!
Did you have a FUN weekend? So nice to have a 3 day!! So I have tons to post this week. It's my niece's 1st Birthday (where does the time go) on Saturday and I'm making all the decorations. The theme is Minnie Mouse. My craft room is filled with pink and black right now :)
But first I wanted to share something that I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with. Did you all see Emma at My creative time's new release I'm sure you did but can I just tell you that it is SOOOO awesome. I have been playing with the Celebrate Good Times Stamp/Die Set and I may have made about 50 different cupcakes:) I wanted to make a somewhat masculine b-day card so here is what I came up with.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion - Anything Goes Birthday
Die Cuttin Divas - Anything-goes
DL ART - Anything Goes

Hope you have a SUPER day! Stop by tomorrow for some Disney fun:)

The Frame is made using my gypsy and the Cricut Cartridge Plantin Schoolbook

Graduation Card - Oh Happy Day

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a GREAT day! I wanted to share a graduation card I made for my cousin. I  LOVE using the "Oh Happy day" for grad cards, because it sure is one. I started with the Oh Happy Day frame and layered it on top of a scallop circle and then using my gypsy I cut a circle from the middle of the scallop to make another frame. The center image of the girl is from Beyond Birthdays  - I know, I know, it's an oldie!!! Added a some brads, grad cap and diploma in hand and voila one Grad Card for the new Doctor in the family :)
Oh Happy Day Frame is cut from Wild Card Cartridge (I should have added some white gel pen to the letters :( oh well next time.

Paper - Echo Park, Recollections
Glitter

Mother's Day Gable Box

Hi Everyone!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend, ours was fabulous! I wanted to share a gable box I made for Mothers Day.  I found a pack of 3 gable boxes at Target in the dollar bins, super good quality for $1.  I made this for a friend of mine that is coming by tomorrow and I just wanted to give her a little something. I put a few baked goods and a gift card inside.
The one thing I wanted to share on this was the bow.... I have lots of satin ribbon which I love!! but sometimes I feel like it looks plain, so I tried stamping on it and it came out great! I used MS ink and a hero arts polka dot stamp.

Pumpkin Spice Challenge - NSD Celebration!

Hi Everyone!
I saw the Pumpkin Spice Challenge thank to Jessica :) and just had to play! I have wanted to try these candles out on a card. I have made these candles forever for my scrapbooks ...this is the stuff we did before cricut, cameo, etc... came out :) I saw a couple ideas on the web and thought I'm going for it.
So here is my card for the challenge.
It's just rolled paper with twine in the middle, the possibilities are endless.

So back to the challenge, make a card...check. Something blue...check. Something round...check, check, check, check,etc....

And last, 3 layers or 3 different papers - mine is obvious!

All of the patterned paper is Authentique that I won from my bloggy buddy Diana who happens to be a DT member for pumpkin spice! Thank you Diana, I'm putting it to good use :)
Hope you come by and join in the FUN!

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend! I wanted to post a Mother's Day card I made this week. I have one more Mother's day project to post and I think I'm actually ready for the day. That never happens I'm always making a last minute "something" on the day :)
So I mentioned that I purchased a few packs of My minds eye paper. The pack I used for my project is called rosy...LOVE IT! I loved it so much that I wanted the paper to be the center. The background paper is 7 gypsies and pairs so well with MME. I inked the "note" paper with Tim Holtz ink and distressed the edges.
I cut the flower using the Cricut Cartridge - Sweet Treats
The leaves were cut and ran through the cuttlebug using distressed stiped.
Stamp - My Creative Time
Brads & Bling - Making memories

Recycled Project

Hi Everyone!
I have a fun project to share today. I saw a few blogs challenging us to recycle. So I thought...OK sounds FUN!
First I grabbed something to recycle hmmm... got it, a peanut can that was ALMOST empty. My hubby got the rest in a snack bag for the day :)
So next I decided what I wanted to use the can for hmmm....craft room, kitchen, got it... the garage. Sounds weird I know but we come into our house through our garage so we (try to) hang our keys on hooks before we walk in but it's so full of spare keys and keys that aren't used everyday and just becomes a mess. So I made this cute little container to put on a shelf to hold all of the spare keys. Now I just need to hang the shelf :)
The paper is from Core'dinations & Colorbok

The little house cut is from the Jubilee Cricut Cartridge. I welded them together using my gypsy

The flower is from the Storybook Cricut Cartridge largest flower starting at 2.85 & smallest at .85
Other items:
White Gel Pen – Sakura
Twine - Twinery

Have a GREAT day, thanks for stopping by:)
