Make me Happy Challenge

Hello Friends,
Wow, I've been so busy! I'm so thankful my husband got home early to take my youngest to practice. I was able to do some much needed laundry and make a healthy dinner. They will be walking through the door any second so my time is limited :) I wanted to share a card I made for Karen's Challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces. It looked so fun, it's a Make Me Happy challenge. I have had this digital stamp for sometime it 's from about.com by Kate Pullen.  I thought it would be perfect for Karen's challenge.

Super clean and simple. CAS cards usually take me more time than cards with all the bells and whistles (heehee). Hope you have a GREAT night......

Happy day to you....

Hi Everyone!
Happy day to you :) That's the title of my card I made for the Simply Crafts March Challenge. This month you are to make a project, any kind of project, using the kite cut from the Create a Critter cartridge (it is on the same key as the giraffe cut). If you don't have that cartridge any kite cut will do. I love these challenges they are always so FUN! Such a busy weekend and I'm exhausted. We had a HUGE fundraiser for my youngest sons school to raise money for some of the programs that are being neglected due to budget cuts. We had an Adult Casino Night.  It sure was a lot of fun and although I helped with silent auctions and various things during the evening there was still some time to DANCE!! We had a GREAT time!
So here is my card.
I'm not sure the maker of this paper but I just loved the bright colors. I guess I was in the mood for color because it's been overcast and rainy here, except today windy BUT Sunny.

Card - 4.25" x 5.5"

March - Card/Desk Calendar

Hi Everyone!
Hope your week is going well. We took a day off this week and went down south to San Diego to visit my family.  We had a nice visit and my niece is just growing so fast she's already 9 months. She is so precious!
So if you remember last month I made a desk calendar you can see that post HERE. I made it by using an easel card as the base for the calendar and I really liked it so I decided to make one for every month. So this is my card/calendar for March, of course I had to use a St. Patrick's day theme and of course I'm entering it in many challenges as most of them this week are St. Patrick's Day themed or use green - well I definitely used BOTH :)

Both of these adorable cuts came from the paper doll dress up cricut cartridge.

All of the paper is from my scrap drawer (yay!!) Except the card base it's coredinations

Card/Calendar - 6"
Cricut Cartridges - PDDU & Storybook(calendar label)
Ink - Martha Stewart
Ribbon - Celebrate it & The Twinery
Machine Stitched

Sentiment & Calendar are printed
Challenges:

Whew...that's a lot of challenges, I really encourage you to stop over at these blogs and check out all of their  inspiration!! The DT's projects are so awesome and every week it just seems to get BETTER & BETTER!!!
ENJOY your day!
